Katelyn Martinez in Toronto Film Festival

This week, look for Takeda Technique student Katelyn Martinez in “Ick,” a feature film premiering at Toronto International Film Festival’s Midnight Madness. This highly-buzzed sci-fi creature feature stars Mena Suvari and Brandon Routh in the tale of a washed-up jock turned high school science teacher who teams up with rebellious teens to overcome an invasive infectious substance. Martinez plays the supporting role of AOC.

Katelyn was in our March 2022 Self-Tape 101 class. Around that same time, she previously appeared on the carpet of SXSW for the world premiere of “Thief Collector.”
