Katelyn Martinez Attends SXSW for “The Thief Collector”

This month, Takeda Technique student Katelyn Martinez missed her 101 class so she could attend SXSW for the world premiere of “The Thief Collector” Directed by 2021 news Emmy-winner Allison Otto and produced by Diamond Docs and Museum and Crane, the film stars Glenn Howerton (“It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”) and Takeda Technique alum Sarah Minnich (“Briarpatch”). It was nominated for the Grand Jury Award. Martinez has a supporting role as a museum guard.

Katelyn’s 101 class cheered for her during her time at the Austin-based festival. She is planning on taking the 201 class in April. She splits her time between LA and Arizona.
