Dodie Montgomery and The Kennedy Center

We at the Takeda Technique are so proud of Dodie Montgomery. She was recently named regional chair of the Kennedy Center’s American College Theater Festival. She’ll be overseeing the southern region including universities in Texas, Arkansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. Besides being our most experienced instructor at the Takeda Technique, Dodie is a long-time college educator and a firm believer in helping actors improve their craft.

The Kennedy Center’s festival is an extension of the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts, based in Washington D.C. It’s a national program that yearly impacts more than 18,000 college students from coast-to-coast. Its goal is to give the next generation of actors from more than 600 college theater programs a chance to improve their craft and have their work critiqued by the best in the business. Dodie has been working with the festival for several years and recently accepted the chair.

Way to go Dodie!
